The Pump is a machine for pumping up fluids in a 44x44 area. On placement, the pump will check the fluid immediately below it and will only pump that exact fluid (known as the "pumping fluid"). This may cause problems with mods that register a flowing fluid separately from a fluid in a still/standing state (such as Oil from Pneumaticcraft Repressurized). The pump sucks fluid one block at a time starting at the top left of the 44x44 square. Starting in v1.18.2-0.3.0.3, the pump will skip blocks that do not contain the pumping fluid.
