Machine upgrades

Some machines have an upgrade slot visible with a green icon in the top right of the GUI of the machine. Machines that produce energy don't typically have upgrade slots.

Quartz Multiplier

The Quartz Multiplier is a machine upgrade that allows you to speed up machines with an upgrade slot, at the expense of increased power consumption.

Mysterious Multipliers^0.4

Mysterious Multipliers are mysterious old devices that can manipulate the quartz oscillator module in your machines. Unlike the Quartz Multiplier, they don't stack and appear to have different grades. The performance of the Mysterious Multiplier depends on the grade/quality of the Mysterious Multiplier. It may take the player a moment to determine the tier of Mysterious Multiplier that they have obtained. Mysterious Multipliers can be found in loot chests.
