Naphtha

From Voluminous Energy

Naphtha is a liquid fuel from Voluminous Energy. It is burned in the Combustion Generator and the Gas Furnace, and can fuel multitools in the Tooling Station.

This page describes Voluminous Energy 0.5 (Alpha 2).

As a fuel

Combustion Generator

Naphtha is rated at 32 FE/t. The Combustion Generator burns 250 mB at a time for 1,600 ticks, so a bucket lasts 6,400 ticks. The oxidizer multiplies the output:

OxidizerFE/tFE per bucket of Naphtha
Compressed Air (uses 250 mB per burn)32204,800
Oxygen (uses 125 mB per burn)64409,600
Dinitrogen Tetroxide (uses 25 mB per burn)128819,200

Gas Furnace

In the Gas Furnace, 250 mB of Naphtha lasts 3,200 ticks, enough to smelt 16 items (64 items per bucket) without an upgrade.
