Gasoline

From Voluminous Energy

Gasoline is a liquid fuel from Voluminous Energy. It is burned in the Combustion Generator and the Gas Furnace, and can fuel multitools in the Tooling Station.

This page describes Voluminous Energy 0.5 (Alpha 2).

As a fuel

Combustion Generator

Gasoline is rated at 128 FE/t. The Combustion Generator burns 250 mB at a time for 1,600 ticks, so a bucket lasts 6,400 ticks. The oxidizer multiplies the output:

OxidizerFE/tFE per bucket of Gasoline
Compressed Air (uses 250 mB per burn)128819,200
Oxygen (uses 125 mB per burn)2561,638,400
Dinitrogen Tetroxide (uses 25 mB per burn)5123,276,800

Gas Furnace

In the Gas Furnace, 250 mB of Gasoline lasts 12,800 ticks, enough to smelt 64 items (256 items per bucket) without an upgrade.
