The Electric Furnace is a furnace powered by Forge Energy.
This page describes Voluminous Energy 0.5 (Alpha 2, for 1.21.1, 26.1.2 and 26.2). All numbers are the default values from the startup config and can be changed there.
Usage
It smelts with vanilla blasting recipes when one exists for the item, and otherwise with normal smelting recipes, taking 200 ticks per item. An upgrade in the upgrade slot shortens the processing time (see Machine upgrades).

Inventory
The "default face" is the side of the machine that automation (hoppers, pipes) uses for the slot by default, relative to the machine's front. It can be changed in the machine's IO settings.

Crafting a Electric Furnace on its own in a crafting grid returns a fresh Electric Furnace, clearing its stored data.
Notes
In 0.5 the Electric Furnace's energy capacity is read from the Electrolyzer's "Maximum Power" setting, while its power bar tooltip uses its own setting. Both default to 5,000 FE, so this only matters if one of them is changed in the config.
History
Added in 1.15.2-0.0.0.0 (the 0.0 train).
