== Usage ==
Put the fluid in the input tank. Each recipe produces up to two output fluids and sometimes an item by-product (for example Crude Oil gives Light Fuel, Naphtha and a 5% chance of Raw Sulfur). An upgrade in the upgrade slot shortens the processing time (see [[Machine upgrades]]).

== Multiblock ==
The Distillation Unit is the controller of a multiblock. It only works when there is a solid 3 × 3 × 3 cube of '''Aluminum Machine Casing''' (27 blocks) next to it, with the controller against the middle of the bottom layer of one side of the cube. Which side depends on the direction the controller faces. The structure is checked once a second.
