The Primitive Blast Furnace is an early game machine that processes typically carbon-rich solid fuels in an oxygen-poor environment. The Primitive Blast Furnace is a completely optional machine but is recommended in the early game to make the player's solid fuels more efficient. For example, Coal Coke lasts 2x longer than regular Coal, which can cut a Primitive or regular Stirling Generator's coal consumption in half.
